We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working with seniors and feel energized by the ability to serve others. Administrative skills are necessary as are WOW-like customer service skills.

This position is responsible for assisting the Director in creating and maintaining a community where a high quality of life for Independent Living residents is offered. The Independent Living Assistant will provide office support and field assistance as needed to aid the Director of Independent Living in implementing systems which enable residents to extend their abilities to live independently. Reports to Director of Independent Living. This is a non-exempt position.

Job Responsibilities include:

· Listens to and responds swiftly to resident requests and needs.

· Serves on Campus-wide committees as requested.

· Interacts daily with staff, residents and family members utilizing good communication and teamwork with other departments.

· Assists with new resident orientation.

· Coordinates events, meetings, and projects.

· Maintains resident files and records.

· Works in concert with Director of Independent Living on significant resident issues including transfers, discharges and transitions when requested.

· Demonstrates orientation towards excellent customer service in all interactions by conducting oneself in a cooperative, courteous, positive, and professional manner. Displays sensitivity and awareness of others. Follows through with established expectations and keeps customers informed of progress.

· Assists with coordination and distribution of Resident Directory

· Supports, maintains, and promotes “Beatitudes” Mission Statement

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be a team player.
• Must have exceptional customer service skills
