Come join our Dining Services team as a Part-Time Diet Aid!
This position performs a variety of Food Service duties including serving residents, interpreting menus, and cleaning and sanitizing.
Diet Aide Responsibilities Include:
- Load food, supplies, and dishes onto carts to take up to the assigned floor kitchen/dining room
- Set tables in the dining room
- Prepare and pass beverages
- Log food temperatures as instructed
- Serve food to the residents in the dining room
- Set up room trays for delivery
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain floor kitchen/dining room equipment
- Gathers dirty dishes from floor kitchen/dining room and loads them onto carts to return to the main kitchen
- Stack, separate, and put dirty dishes/silverware through the dishwasher
- Restock food, supplies, and dishes in the floor kitchen/dining room
- Prepare nourishments and snacks

- Current valid Food Handler card required
- Genuine desire to work with seniors
- Heartfelt compassion for this line of work
- Upbeat and engaging personality
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Maintains general sanitary and safety practices
- Ability to obtain a fingerprint clearance card
