Requirements

Assisted Living experience is a MUST.

Certified Caregiver Certificate is required
This individual will assist senior residents with daily living activities.
May be asked to administer medications following established guidelines, policies, procedures, state law, and physician orders the event of nurse absence.
Must be able to work evenings or nights, holidays, and weekends.
If needed, communicate to the nurse manager medication refusals and potential medication errors.
Take vital signs, including respiration, temperature, blood pressure, and pulse as requested or ordered by a physician.
Assist residents with activities of daily living as specified in the resident's service and care plans.
Responsible for documenting in resident records any significant changes in resident's condition and reports changes to the nurse manager.
Report incidents to the nurse manager and/or the Assisted Living Director using the appropriate forms.
