BEARD EQUIPMENT COMPANY is Hiring a Repair Technician Near Midland, TX

Beard Equipment Co in Midland, TX is looking for one repair technician to join our 19 person strong team. We are located on 4509 West I 20. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged.

Responsibilities

Maintenance and repair of heavy equipment at the shop or in the field

Troubleshooting - diagnostic for repair of heavy equipment

Helping customers

Inspection and testing of equipment

Maintaining safe and clean work environment

Greet customers and make them feel welcome

Work with the customer to identify the problem and present options

Answer any questions the customers may have and provide suggestions as needed

Maintain a clean and safe environment for colleagues and customers

Respond to all complaints in a friendly and professional manner

Qualifications

5 years Min experience with Heavy construction equipment (Wheel loaders, Backhoes, Excavators etc.)

Must have own tools

Familiarity with Cat, John Deere, Cummins, MP DR. Software is a plus.

Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.

Good communication skills

Basic computer skills (Email, Pdf forms work orders)

Self-motivated

Follow direction

Friendly attitude even when dealing with disgruntled colleagues and clientele

Highly adaptable to various situations and customer needs

Ability to problem solve quickly and find effective solutions to issues that arise

Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
