Responsibilities:

• Travel to customers locations to provide furniture repair services.
• Assess and diagnose furniture issues including but not limited to scratches, dents, broken parts, and upholstery problems.
• Perform on-site repairs, utilizing appropriate tools, equipment, and techniques.
• Restore furniture finishes through refinishing, staining, painting, or reupholstering.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in all repair and restoration projects.
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of the repair process, and completion timelines.
• Maintain good accurate documentation, before and after pictures of repairs.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a furniture repair technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of furniture construction, materials, and repair techniques.
• Proficiency in using a wide range of hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently while on the road, managing time effectively and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Some computer and I-phone knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Experience:

• Woodworking: 1 year (Preferred)
• Upholstery: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Midland, TX 79701: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
