Beam Living is Hiring a Graphic Designer Near New York, NY

Position: Graphic Designer
Beam Living, a Blackstone portfolio company, is a vertically integrated Real Estate management company that creates, manages, and supports communities throughout New York City.
We are focused on being both a great place to work and to live. We are part of a very competitive NYC residential real estate market and need a very talented team to deliver on our promises to residents and to communicate to the world why they should live in our communities.
Are you sick of boring corporate design job descriptions? Is it soul destroying for you thinking, “I’m a creative person and I cannot think of anything worse than being trapped in a big machine – but I also want to do big, important, challenging work?” Well, have we got the job for you.
First, let’s get the context out of the way. Our business focused on making real estate more valuable. But for us, it’s more than that. It’s people first, community always. It’s a life-filled career, not just a career-filled life. It’s doing good work, with good humans, and making a difference. It’s excellence in all its forms. Ultimately, we create great places to work, live, and grow. We do that by focusing on leaving people – and places – better than we found them.
Design and visual story telling is very important to us, and that’s where this role fits in. You would be a key member of our Marketing team, working on branding and design materials for our current New York City portfolio of apartment communities – including the country’s largest apartment community and NYC’s tallest rental building. Let’s call that the bread and butter, but the work is no light snack. Each of these places have their own visual identities, so if you’re looking for a job where you get to constantly create, iterate, and execute new brands – this is it.
If you think this is somewhere you’d fit in, we’d love to have a conversation. Blow us away. Show us your best work. Do what good design should do – tell a story and make us feel something.
Read on for the standard stuff our colleagues recommend we put in a JD. We hope to hear from you!
