LEVEL 1 IT SUPPORT

OVERVIEW

Our client is looking for an IT support technician to provide and support users and information systems in a standardized and structured manner (level 1), to keep the inventory of systems and assets up to date and to act as coordinator for all support and service requests. This person will be responsible for ensuring that services are provided in compliance with service agreements and in accordance with regulatory standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Incident management (ensuring level 1 support)

• Documentation of incidents and standard processes

• Backup operations

• System maintenance/configuration

• Interaction/Knowledge transfer with customers

• Provision of IT services and assistance

• Maintain inventory of systems and assets

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• Knowledge of ITIL principles (plus)

• Knowledge of GXP principles (plus)

• Good analytical skills and curiosity.

• Customer service.

• Ability to work without or with minimal supervision.

• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:

• Certificate/diploma in information technology.

• About 5 years of professional experience in functions related to information technology, such as systems support, user support, backup operations, inventory management, equipment orders, initiating purchase orders in SAP.

• Sufficient experience in SAP system support level.

• Outstanding expertise in customer service

• Recognized skills in IT process improvements.
