Service Manager
We are seeking a versatile and skilled individual, you will be responsible for managing the service operations and ensuring the seamless coordination of service activities. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service by acting as a liaison between customers and our service team. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a deep commitment to delivering exceptional service experiences.
Responsibilities
- Provide direction and guidance to technicians in the completion of all repairs.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure that all repairs are completed on time.
- Creating estimates for customers and following up on any questions
- Ensure that all repairs are performed in accordance with the shop's procedures.
- Replenish shop inventory.
- Ensure that the shop's equipment is maintained and repaired as needed.
- Set performance goals and metrics for the service team, conduct regular evaluations, and provide feedback to improve their performance and productivity.
- Optimize resource allocation and utilization to maximize service efficiency and minimize downtime, ensuring timely completion of service requests.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experiance in forklift or automotive industry.
- Must be able to work well under pressure, with a sense of urgency and a high level of attention to detail.
- Must have strong communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers, and vendors.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize tasks according to importance.
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude and be able to troubleshoot automotive issues on vehicles of any make or model.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
