BCS Staffing is Hiring an Associate Attorney (NJ Bar Required) Near Lyndhurst, NJ

A prestigious full-service 25-person law firm located in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, is seeking highly motivated Associate Attorneys to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in one of the following areas: personal injury (defense), workers comp, tax appeals, labor/employment, civil rights, or investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal representation and counsel in a variety of practice areas, including personal injury defense, workers' compensation, tax appeals, labor/employment law, and civil rights.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare for and represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and arbitrations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex cases and projects.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and developments.
  • Participate in investigations and discovery processes as needed.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New Jersey State Bar.
  • 1-3 years or 3-5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in litigation, labor/employment law, civil rights, or related areas.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy and ethical practice.
  • Experience with government work and New Jersey courts is a plus.
  • Candidates with a book of business will be considered favorably.
