Part-Time Direct Support Professional for Individuals with Disabilities
As a part-time DSP (Direct Support Professional) your schedule will be:
· Monday through Friday 7:30AM to 2:30 PM
· No nights
· No weekends
· No holidays
As a part-time DSP your pay and benefits will be:
· Pays $16.50 per hour.
· Paid time off which accrues from date of hire as well as 11 paid holidays.
· BCRC values and provides paid extensive training for all staff.
BCRC, Inc. (Beaver County Rehabilitation Center) is a non-profit agency that provides supports to people with intellectual, developmental, psychiatric, and physical disabilities with the goal of increasing independence, securing employment, and enriching relationships through community inclusion.
As a part-time DSP, you will work in the vocational workshop acting as a job coach at our location in Aliquippa, PA supporting adults with disabilities as they work towards developing strong work skills.
Your role as a job coach will include:
· training clients to complete work tasks
· maintaining quality control on completed work
· working with clients on their individual goals established in their ISP
· modeling professional work behavior
· supporting clients in community inclusion that fosters the development of their life skills
