BCForward is currently seeking a highly motivated Technical Writer 4 Job for an opportunity at Redmond, WA-Hybrid

Position Title: Technical Writer 4

Location: Redmond, WA-Hybrid

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 6 months.

Job Type: Contract and Hybrid

Pay Range: $60- $65/hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Requirements:

Looking experience with Technical Background (Data Center, ADO, Cloud, or similar Technology preferred) , Technical Writing, 8 years (PowerPoint/word/ ADO/OFT)

Job Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and exceptional writing skills to effectively communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences. As a Technical Writer, individuals will play a key role in creating comprehensive and user-friendly documents.

Responsibilities:

1. Research and Understand Technical Concepts:

* Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information on technical concepts, processes, and products.

* Conduct in-depth research to comprehend complex technical topics.

2. Create Clear and Concise Documentation:

* Develop white papers that are clear, concise, and easy to understand.

* Translate technical jargon into user-friendly content for both technical and non-technical audiences.

3. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:

* Work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is incorporated into documentation.

4. Review and Edit Existing Documentation:

* Review and edit existing documentation to maintain accuracy and relevance.

* Ensure documentation complies with company standards and industry best practices.

5. Stay Updated on Technological Advancements:

* Keep abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to incorporate the latest information into documentation.

6. Manage Documentation Lifecycle:

* Organize and maintain a documentation repository, ensuring easy access and version control.

* Update documentation as necessary

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a Technical Writer in a technology-focused environment.

* Strong understanding of technical concepts, software development, and IT infrastructure.

* Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.

* Proficiency in documentation tools and software

* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

* Experience with graphic design tools for creating visuals to accompany documentation.

* Previous experience in cloud computing, software development, or related fields.
