BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Onsite Support Technician for an opportunity in Scarborough, ME

Position Title : Onsite Support Technician

Location : Scarborough, ME

Anticipated Start Date : 05 / 27 / 2024.

Expected Duration : 6 Months Contract with Strong Possibility of Extension.

Job Type : Contract (40 hours weekly) , On-Site

Pay Range : $22 / hr - $24.62 / hr

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.

g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description :

• Provide first and second-level support for all desktop, software, and hardware issues within the organization.
• Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, Windows / Mac / operating systems, office software, email, and other applications.
• Troubleshoot problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, email, and peripheral equipment problems;

make repairs and corrections where required.

• Act as a liaison between users and higher-level support teams, ensuring effective communication and quick resolution of issues.
• Conduct hardware and software inventory database maintenance and reporting.
• Assist with the setup of new employees, including desktop configuration, software installation, and email account creation.
• Ensure security and privacy protocols are followed to protect systems and data.
• Provide training and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
• Stay current with the latest technologies and best practices in IT support.
