BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Application Programmer V for an opportunity in Charlotte, NC!

Position Title: Application Programmer V

Location: Charlotte, NC - Plano, TX

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 12 Months.

Job Type: CONTRACT, ON-SITE

Pay Range: $65/hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Requirements:

A successful candidate will participate in the transformation and implementation of a critical batch processing within the Compliance tech org in the bank. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills. Must have interpersonal skills with a proven track record of interacting with different groups and various levels of a large organization. As part of an agile scrum team, the candidate will work with users to refine requirements, design and develop high-quality ETL Informatica code, develop Unix scripts and scalable database systems. The candidate will be expected to be a hands on architect and developer with the ability to drive design and implementation initiatives.

10 years professional experience developing solutions in ETL Informatica (recent experience in version 10.5.2. preferred)

Experience with Oracle database and query performance optimizations.

Experience with data warehousing and OLTP solutions.

Strong in PL/SQL, stored procedures.

Experience with Oracle 19c.

5-10 years of experience in Unix environment and Shell scripting

Experience and desire to work in an Agile process (pair programming, daily stand-ups, etc.) Framework (Scrum/Kanban)

Demonstrable knowledge of problem domain in which they have been working.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work comfortably as a team player

Nice to have:

Experience with domain driven design.

Distributed systems experience

Relevant industry (Compliance, Entity/Transaction Scanning etc.) experience

Experience with Java/J2EE technologies * Experience with JIR
