Position Title: Medical Billing and Coding Specialist
Location: Remote
Expected Duration: 09 months.
Payrate: 24$/hr.
Walk me through the day-to-day responsibilities of this the role and a description of the project (Outside of Workday JD):
- Reviewing denial requests to see if they meet requirement for a peer to peer.
- Using multiple systems to research denials and schedule peer reviews .
- Taking calls for peer to peer based on denial letter that are generated.
- On average this person would be handling inbound / outbound calling (10-20 calls approximately per day)
Required Skills
- Need to have some sort of medical office, billing, coding, etc.
- Call Center Experience (healthcare) Medicaid / Marketplace experience is a bonus.
