Description: The purpose of the Assistant Clinical Director (ACD) role is to help and support the Clinical Director (CD) with daily tasks in the clinic. The ACD will stand in for the CD while they are out on PTO, maternity leave, or other scheduled appointments, so staff have an individual to report to for operational and clinical needs. The ACD will learn and be trained on CD responsibilities over time to develop skills to become a CD in the future.
The ACD will have a clinical caseload of 7-9 clients and be responsible for meeting billable goals each week. This may be altered depending on the length of absence of the CD. The ACD will learn everyday responsibilities of a CD and step in when the CD is absent. ACD will meet, shadow, and assist the CD weekly to receive training on the general responsibilities listed below.
General Responsibilities: This is a list of the common duties an ACD will perform with the CD or on their own in the absence of the CD. This list is subject to change based on specific clinic needs.
