Who You Are:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Assistant Store Manager to join our team at buybuy BABY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, exceptional customer service skills, and a genuine love for baby products. As the Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of our store by overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and fostering a positive and engaging shopping experience for customers.
What Youll Do:
\tAssist in the day-to-day management of the retail store, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
\tProvide excellent customer service, offering product knowledge and guidance to customers.
\tSupervise and train retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
\tManage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate restocking activities.
\tHandle customer inquiries, concerns, and returns in a professional and efficient manner.
\tCollaborate with the Store Manager to develop and train store staff, fostering a positive and customer focused work environment.
\tPerform opening and closing duties.
\tUphold company policies and standards, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
\tOther tasks as required.
What Youll Bring:
\tPrevious retail management experience, preferably in a specialty baby goods store but not required.
\tStrong leadership and team management skills.
\tCustomer-focused with a positive attitude.
\tAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
\tFamiliarity with inventory management systems and point of sale software.
\tAbility to effectively train, mentor, and motivate a team of employees.
\tStrong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
\tFlexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
\tAbility to stand for extended periods.
\tLift and carry merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
\tBend, stoop, and reach to perform tasks.
Available Shifts:
\tMonday-Friday, and rotating weekends
\tMorning, day, evening, and night shifts
$15.00 - $20.00 Hourly
