We’re looking for a credentialed General / Vascular / Echo Sonographer to provide diagnostic services to our physician partners throughout the Stillwater, OKC area. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Perform sonographic scans for multiple modalities: General, Vascular, and Echo
  • Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
  • Work a 12 hour shift every Saturday and overnight call on Saturday.
  • Create patient reports to assist the physician with documentation.
  • Analyze sonograms to identify or rule-out patient anomalies.
  • Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
  • Perform transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms and assist physician in performing transesophageal echocardiograms.
  • Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
  • Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.
  • Cover a variety of clinical settings, including outreach clinics, which may involve extended commute times.
  • Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.

IS THIS YOU?
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
  • Registered Vascular Technologist Certification (RVT)
  • Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related specialty
  • Knowledgeable of applied physics related to ultrasound
  • Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
  • Able to communicate effectively with physicians, clients, and team members
  • Able to remain calm in emergencies or patient distress
  • Enjoys the perks of working multiple clinics and the road in between (what's your favorite podcast?)

  • Registered with an OB specialty
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS-AE)
  • Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
