We’re looking for an experienced MFM Sonographer ready to stretch into the next step in their career and float to clinics in our largest region - Central Texas. As an MFM Sonographer (Floater), you will work independently in various clinical settings (OB and high-risk) and fill in shifts throughout Central Texas, consistently flexing your clinical skill set. No nights or weekends!

- Perform sonographic procedures. (No surprise there!)
- Cover a variety of clinical settings; including low-risk and MFM sites, outreach clinics, which will involve extended commute times.
- Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
- Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
- Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule out patient/fetus anomalies.
- Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
- Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis.
- Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
- Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.
- Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.
- Other duties assigned by managers
IS THIS YOU?
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
- 1 yr of MFM, high-risk OB sonography experience
- Flexible to work at all clinic locations in Central Texas region
- Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
- Knowledgeable of applied physics related to ultrasound
- Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
- Able to communicate effectively with physicians, clients, and team members
- Able to remain calm in emergencies or patient distress
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future
- Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
- Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
- Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
