Ministry Purpose: To work for the Finance Director and as a member of the Finance Team by performing proper accounting activities of the church including accounts payable, contributions received, payments of expenditures and monthly G/L and/or bank account reconciliations.

Position Status: Non-Exempt

Work Schedule: Full time, 40 hours

Ministry: Business Team

Location: Bayside Offices - Lakewood Ranch Campus

Primary Responsibilities: Data entry/processing of Accounts/Processing Credit Card Receipts/Payables in the Intacct Accounting system and related applications

• Assists with weekly processing of contributions into donor database (Synovus bank/Planning Center systems)
• Assist with account reconciliations
• Support the Finance Team to provide needed customer service for all internal and external customers of Finance (in person/phone/email)
  Secondary Responsibilities
• Assist with church events as needed
• Help create and maintain a healthy team culture

Performance Measures

• Customer service to internal and external finance customers
• Timely and accurate data entry/monitoring/reporting/payment of invoices and bills
• Standards of work as agreed upon by auditors and Executive Director of Finance

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 Year experience in a business office environment preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to learn new software quickly
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate
• Attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

• Must have completed the Growth Track at Bayside or moving forward in doing so.
