Description
1. Process Optimization: Analyze plant operations, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions to optimize process efficiency, productivity, and reliability.
2. Troubleshooting: Investigate and troubleshoot plant equipment and process issues, collaborating with maintenance, operations, and technical teams to diagnose problems and implement corrective actions.
3. Process Design and Improvement: Lead process design projects, including feasibility studies, process simulations, equipment selection, and plant layout, to support plant expansions, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
4. Safety and Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, conduct risk assessments, implementing safety protocols, and promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship within the plant.
5. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance programs and initiatives to maintain product quality, consistency, and compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
6. Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret plant performance data, generating reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor plant performance, identify trends, and drive data-driven decision-making.
7. Project Management: Manage engineering projects from conception to completion, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
8. Training and Development: Provide training and technical support to plant personnel, empowering them to operate equipment safely, troubleshoot issues effectively, and implement best practices for process optimization and reliability.
