Chicago, IL (REMOTE)
Contract
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar
Experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services, or Azure Synapse Analytics.
3 years experience as a BI developer or similar, utilizing Microsoft BI technologies
Synapse/ADF Experience:
Pipelines
Activities: Dataflows and Notebooks (Python)
Gen 2 Storage
SQL Serverless and SQL Dedicated Pool
Understanding of data warehousing principles and ETL processes.
Ability to design and develop interactive dashboards using Microsoft Power BI utilizing drill down data exploration for deep insights
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and SSAS
Proficient in SQL querying and data modeling
Knowledge of data visualization best practices and user experience design
