Main Purpose

Responsible for development and positioning seeds and crop protection products in a specific region, through conduction of trials under farmer conditions following pre-assigned protocols in close partnership with growers;

responsible for development and verification of agronomic best practices in his / her region.

Your mission Will be to

• Conduct protocols in partnership with growers to determine the positioning of corn hybrids, chemicals (herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and correlated) and biological products, considering agriculture systems and different environments in his / her region, assuring that all these variations are being captured to generate the best recommendations to our customers.
• Organize the regional trials with the regional MD Coordinator in order to assure efficiency and flexibility of the operation.
• Work in Microplots in order to assure the quality of the trials and to complete knowledge of the performance of our products in the region.
• Monitoring the performance of different technologies (Ag practices, Biotech, etc) in their region, alerting possible changes and trends through field evaluations.
• Participate in discussions to generate protocols and give feedback to Technical Managers for protocol development and results.
• Establish relationship and connection with growers and key influencers, to understand agro-ecological aspects of the region and environment differences, identifying opportunities to project our products, technologies and agronomic practices to provide best solutions to those growers
• Build a strong network with regional and internal stakeholders (MDA, field marketing, field solutions, breeding) to share information about the operation and the performance of our solutions in the region
• Be a strong and recognized technical reference in his / her region for seeds, crop protection products and digital tools internally and externally.

Influence the agronomic systems in his / her region considering our products technical value proposal.

Follow stewardship practices and other Regulatory advising related to ours and other technologies and full compliance with Legal, HSE, Business Conduct Policies.

Unlock your Potencial

• Higher degree in Agronomy or related areas. MSc or PhD degrees are strongly desired.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with agriculture and agricultural experimentation, statistical analysis and result presentation.
• Knowledge in machinery and geospacial data & tools
• Intermediate knowledge in English
• Great organization and planning skills (Proactive).
• Competencies in Relationships & Networks and agility.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholders management skills.
• Digital mindset and systemic insight
