The selected candidate will be assigned to work with our Site Project Manager in an Mid-Level Project Management position and asked to perform the following duties: estimating, cost control, forecasting, trend analysis, change order control, risk assessment and management, schedule analysis, earned value management, progress measurement/reporting, productivity analysis and calculation, subcontractor management, schedule development, progress reporting, vendor management, field engineering, site safety and overall product quality.
This role is based on continuous support, not project specific. The initial contract will be written for 6 months, and renewed based on evaluation and need.
Typical Job Responsibilities:
Oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of a project which with specified deliverables. Define the scope of the project in collaboration with other staff members. Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project. Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project. Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities. Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required. Develop a project estimate for project completion; maintain cost control activities throughout the project life. Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion. Execute the project according to the project plan. Develop forms and records to document project activities. Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured. Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project. Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project. Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards. Evaluate the project and make recommendations as needed.
Job Requirements:
BS Degree required; Construction, Finance, Business Management, or Technology degrees preferred.
Minimum of 4 years? experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
Proficiency in MS Office software is required.
Pre-employment physical is required that the employee can meet the attached Occupational Demands.
