The Procedural RN responsibilities include:

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• RN also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

Requirements:

• RN (Registered Nurse) License

• Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification with the American Heart Association preferred
• PALS certification with the American Heart Association preferred
• Required Experience: 1 year acute care experience or 1 year interventional / procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or interventional / procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment.

• For this position, we prefer a minimum of two years RN acute care experience. We prefer at least 1 year RN experience in Endoscopy, PACU, Critical Care, or Emergency Service. Endoscopy experience is strongly preferred. Includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
