Performs adjustments or repairs, such as opening valves, changing formers and sealing jaw knives, setting guides, temperature controls, nitrogen/ oxygen fill ratios, and other machine related functions. Inspects and records all quality checks in computer dbase and aligns machine packaging output to comply with quality specifications on an order-by-order basis. Ensures all aspects of quality standard are met by performing all necessary quality checks. Lubricate, sanitize, troubleshooting, make minor mechanical adjustments, and perform preventive maintenance on packaging line as needed. Ensure work order schedules, coffee blending matrix, and coffee transports are followed correctly and to company protocol. Ensure correct labeling of product is managed, as well as, ensuring label data is complete and accurate. Operate machinery and job tasks using proper safety practices and protocols. Report any unsafe and near-mis incidents to management. Coffee management system and dbase ‐ RF gun transactions for traceability and performance tracking. Comply with all company guidelines, safety protocols, and PPE requirements. Maintain and perform proper housekeeping. Work with quality team to ensure product compliance and work order specs are maintained. And other duties as assigned. Important Details: The position is a full time, permanent role at our Northlake, TX manufacturing facility. About You: 1 – 2 years of machine operator experience required. Knowledge of tools, machines, safety precautions in an industrial/ manufacturing setting. Ability to use knowledge, creativity, and initiative in recommending or implementing improvements in efficiency or safety of the work area. Critical thinking and ability to communicate effectively.
