Summary: Enhances and improves the SRIM experience specifically in Heartful Care for our residents and their families, demonstrates and promotes SRIM’s core value of the Golden Rule accepts management responsibilities of the Nursing Department in absence of the director of resident services, and assists in managing the care of all residents by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises employees in the Resident Services and Nursing Departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications:
CNA License and Med Tech Certificate- RequiredTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software, electronic medical records.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid Florida Nursing License or Medical Technician Certification
