Who We Are Looking For:Are you the Special Education Teacher we have been looking for? In this position you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by working with our youth! Bay Cove Academy is a therapeutic day school that specializes in trauma-informed services for students ages 12-22 with complex trauma histories, mental health issues, educational challenges, and/or behavioral difficulties. Bay Cove Academy offers students a supportive environment that addresses their education, clinical, pre-vocational, recreational and behavioral needs. Individual, group, nursing, and milieu counseling are provided.What You'll Do:Bay Cove Academy is seeking a highly organized and professional candidate to serve as a licensed Special Education teacher with experience teaching middle and high school aged students. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, patient, and have experience teaching content area subjects while utilizing and applying the Massachusetts Curriculum Framework.The ideal candidate will have the ability to work with students in a clinically appropriate manner while maintaining a challenging learning environment. Experience working with students in an alternative school setting is preferred. Bay Cove Academy uses an interdisciplinary approach working collaboratively with the educational, clinical, nursing, and vocational departments.Why JRI?Be who you are!
