Summary of Position :

Provide support and management for the food & beverage operation during lunch, dinner, member events and functions in the absence of the Food and Beverage Manager.

Lunch, Dinner, Poolside Dining, Private and Member Events

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Welcome and Greet members, answer the phone and take reservations for upcoming day / event.
• Make seating plans for lunch / dinner.
• Begin the process for new events and communicate directly to Food and Beverage Manager.
• Manage staff for proper opening and closing procedures and proper service.
• Be able to make appropriate decisions regarding service and staff.
• Make sure all items are properly priced in POS System.
• Oversee bartenders, servers and bus persons during service.
• Expedite all orders to the kitchen.
• Ensure timely food and drink service.
• Communicate with Food and Beverage Manager through daily log.
• Facilitate Set Up and Breakdown for events.
• Assist with Payroll in the absence of Food and Beverage Manager.

Qualifications

• Food and Beverage experience a plus, especially on service side including bartending.
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Have proficient knowledge of service and hospitality
• Availability on nights and weekends required.
• Availability for occasional double shifts.
• Have proficient knowledge of dining room and service procedure and functions.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Be able to safely lift up to 25 pounds.
• Be able to remain calm and professional with staff and guests during all periods of activity.

2024 Projects

JOB VALUE / COMPENSATION :

This is position is an hourly seasonal position. $25 per hour.
