Bay Area Community Services is Hiring a Program Supervisor - Crisis Program - Sacramento Near Sacramento, CA

The Program Supervisor for our brand new Community Wellness and Response Team is responsible for providing high quality and timely field response to requests for support from community members using a strengths-based and harm reduction approach. Services include de-escalation, resourcing, problem-solving, family support and transportation to other community locations.
This is a community-based position providing direct, face-to-face services to individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis and travel throughout Sacramento County is required.
Our brand new Mobile Crisis Program operate 24/7, 365; providing in-field response to de-escalate and resource community members.
Community Wellness and Response Team is our newest program and formerly known as Alternatives to 911. This innovative program works collaboratively with 988 and Sacramento County to provide urgent response for community members experiencing a mental health crisis to reduce the need for emergency services and provide community based resources.
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, or, Tuesday-Saturday. Day shift (8:00am - 4:30pm).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Assures that services are provided in collaboration with all applicable funding streams and regulations. Responsible to ensure contract compliance with all funders including grant management, presentations, and reports.
•Supervises staff including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
•Responsible for the implementation of the service delivery model and in support of BACS mission, vision, and values.
•Responsible for the implementation of consumer-centered services that are needs-driven and strength-based, and culturally relevant.
•Manages flow of referrals, intakes, and discharges of participants and ensures accessibility and welcoming of all people as applicable.
•Manages the maintenance of records and other administrative requirements. Ensures compliance with documentation and charting requirements for all funding streams.
•Implements Continuous Quality Improvement standards and works with staff to implement systems for CQI.
•Communicates effectively and conscientiously utilizing strength-based language and philosophy throughout all aspects of program supervision.
•Participates in the delivery and attendance at training for the purposes of agency, professional, and personal development.
•Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor's Degree Preferred, Associate's degree required in counseling, psychology, social work, or clinical related field.
•Four years of direct service experience required.
•Two years of progressive administrative and leadership skills and experience required.
•Demonstrated capacity to lead diverse and multi-disciplinary teams toward a common goal required.
•Position requires a valid California driver's license with a clean driving record, personal vehicle, and proof of personal vehicle insurance coverage. DMV printout required.
•Travel throughout Sacramento County is essential.
