Bay Area Animal Eye Care is Hiring a Veterinary Clinical Services Supervisor Near Fremont, CA

 
Beacon Veterinary Specialists is seeking to fill a full-time Clinical Service Supervisor role. We are looking for candidates with a desire to create remarkable experiences for every client in a fast-paced environment. To be considered, candidates must have a positive attitude, exhibit excellent leadership skills, be self-motivated, and possess a strong desire to learn, share, and improve continuously.

Schedule: The training schedule will be Monday - Thursday 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM for 8 -12 weeks. The regular schedule will be Sunday - Wednesday 11:00 AM - 9:30 PM.

Who We're Looking For:

The successful Clinical Service Supervisor candidate will be someone who has demonstrated the ability to be a self-starter and successful problem solver with good attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and who is motivated to learn. We are looking for the very best of the best to complement our team of extraordinarily talented board-certified specialists and staff. 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Anticipate and resolve clinical service issues

  • Partner and collaborate with managers in all service areas to provide excellent service to patients and clients

  • Monitor the safety of staff and patients and support safety standards within the hospital 

  • Evaluate workflow inefficiencies and identify process improvements

  • Implement clinical strategies to improve the quality of medicine

  • Support the recruitment, hiring, and training of clinical staff 

  • Create a schedule for clinical staff to ensure adequate clinical support during hours of business operations

  • Evaluate clinical staff performances and provide development 

  • Research strategies to further improve the patient and client experience

  • Develop standards and procedures to maximize the patient and client experience 

  • Resolve client complaints related to clinical support

  • Maintain accurate records and files of documentation pertaining to staff development and performance

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Compassion for people and for pets

  • Self-motivated and self-directed

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

  • Skilled at encouraging a team; able to mentor and lead

  • Excellent client care and focus; ability to assess clients’ needs and provide answers, paths, troubleshooting help, or methods for a positive client experience

  • Eager to expand the company with new patients 

  • Previous experience in a clinical management role

  • Basic computer skills 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Veterinary Technician with at least 5 years of experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in an ER/Speciality clinic setting

  • Practice Management experience preferred

  • High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business, or related field preferred

Other Skills and Abilities: 

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and writing skills. A positive “can do” attitude is a must! The ability to inspire, teach, multitask, and be a highly functional member of the team is also a bonus.
