Reports To
The Warehouse Associate will report to the Line Lead and the Warehouse Manager at Cambridge True Value Home Center, Inc. dba Bay 15.
Job Overview
As a Warehouse Associate, the ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damage, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders. The company is willing to train the right candidate.
The position is full-time. The hours are Monday – Thursday 7:15AM to 4:00PM. Every Friday 7:15AM - 12:00PM.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock
- Inspecting all stock for damages
- Organizing the warehouse space
- Preparing orders for shipment
- If instructed to do so, may potentially operate stock management tools; for example, a forklift or pallet jack
- Daily housekeeping of the facility
- Any and all other duties assigned
Qualifications
- Technically proficient.
- Previous experience with inventory & order management systems, shipping software, barcodes, and scanners (preferred, but not required.)
- Possesses and portrays a high level of emotional intelligence, maturity, and professionalism.
- Extremely detailed-oriented.
- Punctuality and good time management.
- Proactive takes initiative and action, comfortable asking questions.
- Solid organization and planning skills.
- Ability to routinely lift up to 40 pounds, ability to stand for extended periods of time.
