Leader for general/electrical maintenance
Perform maintenance and PMs on Electrical systems
Build, install and troubleshoot electrical/control circuits for plant utilities and equipment
Install transformers and overhaul equipment - maintenance & production.
Select fuses, circuit breakers, overload relays for installation/replacement.
Read and interpret electrical schematics national electrical code.
Operate and maintain 3-phase induction motors and in-plant power distribution systems.
Troubleshoot and maintain plant electrical systems (13,800 VAC, 480 VAC, 208 VAC, 120 VAC etc.)
Troubleshoot control circuits: motor control circuits, plc control circuits
Configure and Troubleshoot VFDs
Basic Pipe fitting as needed.
Must have knowledge of both plant and departmental environmental health and safety regulations and comply with said regulations accordingly.
Other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to use electrical test equipment; e.g., volt-ohm meter, ammeter, meg-ohmmeter, wiggy.
Ability to troubleshoot and install DC equipment/controllers, generators, solenoids, relays, motors, power supplies.
Ability to perform industrial maintenance
Lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull up to 100 lbs., lift 30 lbs. above the shoulder
Ability to bend/stoop, climb ladders, reach above the shoulder
Meet confined space entry requirements
Work in unfavorable conditions (hot/cold temperatures)
Ability to work at heights
Minimum 15 years Electrical Experience
Electrical Skills
Ability to use electrical test equipment: voltmeter, ammeter, meg-ohmmeter
Ability to size fuses, circuit breakers, overloads, transformers and wiring
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and the national electric code
Ability to install and troubleshoot motor control circuits, relay logic and PLCs
Ability to trouble shoot, install, and maintain all plant electrical systems at all voltages (13,800 Volt and below)
Basic pipe-fitting Experience
Meet visual acuity requirements as documented in the Baxter Cleveland Visual Acuity Procedure CL-01-01-037.
Ability to work in unfavorable conditions (hot/cold temperatures)
Audiometric testing and hearing protection are required
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $68,000 - $93,500 anually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than that of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
