Bauhaus Furniture Group is currently searching for a qualified and reliable Maintenance Tech Work in our maintenance department. As the Maintenance tech, you will be responsible for being proactive and or assisting all installation, repair and upkeep operations of our company’s facilities including daily upkeep of our machines. Your duties will include but not limited to maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, developing maintenance procedures, keeping the plant cleaned (including bathrooms, floors, breakroom, trash dumped) etc.

Responsibilities:

• Understand all or have a willingness to learn all maintenance processes and operations.
• Track expenses and oversee expenses in the maintenance.
• Maintain all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards.
• Continue to implement maintenance procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
• Schedule all repair and installation activities when needed.
• Follow department guidelines and adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
• Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
• Track and keep inventory of equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance similar field is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance preferred.(Recent grads are encouraged to apply)
• Previous Maintenance lead experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Gerber cutters and their operating systems.
• Strong knowledge sewing machines, industrial equipment, and industrial electrical is a huge plus.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
