Bauer Infrastructure LLC is Hiring an Accounts Payable Professional/Accountant Near Lincoln, NE

Attention – Accounts Payable Professional in the metro area of Lincoln, Nebraska!
Bauer Infrastructure is looking for an Internal Accountant to work with the accounting operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of accounting tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
Job Highlights:

Full-time, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
$20 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Great interpersonal skills including excellent attitude, willingness to learn, multi-tasking and attention to detail.
Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
Oversees accounts payable and assists with accounts receivable.
Code & Route Invoices in Accounting software
Organize invoices/statements for payment processing twice a month.
Reconciliation of credit card statements and collection of receipts.
Provide support with miscellaneous accounting procedures as assigned.
Operate office equipment such as computers, audio/visual, photocopiers, fax machines and scanners.
Must be able to discern priorities and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s) as needed.

Job Requirements:

Degree or related experience in accounting preferred.
Word processing, writing, and excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of software applications, such as Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and database management.
Experience in Sage 300 Timberline preferred.
Knowledge of Nebraska Department of Revenue sales and use tax laws for construction preferred.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Discretion, good judgment, organizational or management ability, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
