Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management and Reporting
  • Develop comprehensive financial statements, budgets, and cost reports to provide critical support for both project-specific needs and overarching corporate objectives.
  • Exercise diligent oversight of project expenses, comparing them against established budgets and promptly alerting management to any discrepancies.
  • Maintain an eagle-eyed focus on cash flow, ensuring the continuous availability of funds to sustain project operations.
Billing and Receivables
  • Exhibit finesse in the preparation and issuance of invoices, prioritizing accuracy and timeliness to maintain our financial rhythm.
  • Pursue outstanding invoices with vigor, fostering productive communication with clients to secure on-time payments.
  • Skillfully reconcile ledgers, statements, and accounts, ensuring that our financial records remain harmonious.
Payables and Expenses
  • Manage the seamless processing of vendor bills and the preparation of checks for approval and signature.
  • Play a critical role in reviewing and reconciling expense reports submitted by employees and contractors, maintaining financial clarity.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Assist in the meticulous preparation and filing of tax returns, diligently ensuring that supporting documentation aligns with the intricate requirements of construction projects.
  • Stand as a beacon of support during internal and external audits, providing essential documents and comprehensive explanations.
Cost Analysis and Budgeting
  • Collaborate on the creation of precise budgets and financial forecasts tailored to the unique demands of each construction project.
  • Regularly assess cost variances between budgeted and actual expenses, translating these findings into actionable insights for management.
Software and Systems
  • Be the guardian of our accounting software and databases, diligently maintaining and updating them to meet evolving needs.
  • Precisely input financial and project data into our systems, fostering the reliability of our financial information.
Communication and Teamwork
  • Act as a conduit of financial communication between various stakeholders, including clients, project managers, engineers, and procurement staff, to ensure the seamless exchange of vital financial data.
  • Deliver concise, informative financial reports to the management team on a regular basis.
Contract Review and Management
  • Contribute to the thorough review of financial clauses within contracts and agreements, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Other Duties

Requirements:
