Battelle Energy Alliance is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near Idaho Falls, ID

Description

Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Financial Analyst to work in our Business Management department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls EROB facility with every other Friday off.

You will assist in forecasting out-year funding, carryover projections, FTE projections and indirect cost affordability, In addition you will develop, maintain, and provide financial reporting.

You will report to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis for management, staff, and DOE.
  • Perform impact analysis on internal and external customers of potential cost model changes.
  • Develop, maintain, and provide financial reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of lab-level indirect rates and forecasts.
  • Support lab-level and senior management data requests.
  • Support indirect investment priority list requests.
  • Assist in forecasting out-year funding, carryover projections, FTE projections, indirect cost affordability, etc.
  • Review business practices, actions, and proposals and develop solutions to improve effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Mentor staff on burden applicability, charging practices, cost models, average charge-out rates, etc.
QualificationsMinimum Requirements:

PR0300- Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience or Advanced Degree plus 3 years' experience.

PR0400- Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience or Advanced Degree plus 6 years' experience.

  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Work is performed without appreciable direction.
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel.
  • Must be proficient in the use of word, excel, and powerpoint

Job Information:

Salary Grade: 190 - ($72,528 - $119,652)

Salary Grade 210 - ($95,928 - $158,232)
