Salary: $18.75 per hour BOE

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00-4:00pm

Responsibilities

  • Assists Clinic Director in the management of staff and daily operations.
  • Leads weekly management and staff meetings.
  • Assists Clinic Director to ensure accuracy of payroll and processing leave requests for all staff.
  • Influences the culture to ensure a successful team.
  • Lead, train, support, maintain accountability, and manage the disciplinary processes with staff as needed.
  • Conducts performance reviews of front office staff and assists Clinic Director with clinic staff reviews.
  • Performs daily audits of clinical documentation to ensure accuracy of documentation and billing.
  • Oversees or performs all front office tasks, including but not limited to:
    • Answering phones.
    • Scheduling patients.
    • Process requests for referrals, plans of care and authorizations.
    • Faxing documentation to providers.
    • Processing new referrals.
    • Checks patients in/out and schedules them.
    • Calculates and collects patient balances.
    • Corresponds with physician offices and insurance companies.
    • Understands, manages, and communicates clearly about insurance benefits.
    • Manages quality assurance checks.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required/Associates or College Degree preferred.
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), basic office support skills (telephone, filing, data entry) and basic math skills. 
  • Excellent telephone etiquette, pleasant personality and amazing customer service skills. 
  • Verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly communicate with others. 
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the medical field required.
