JOB DESCRIPTION

The Facilities Tech is responsible for ensuring proper operations, maintenance service, and repair of all equipment while supporting Bathhouse's guest satisfaction, cost control, and profitability goals. They are also responsible for overseeing and participating/creating in the Preventative Maintenance program, ensuring that all public/operational spaces meet standards.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Maintained polished aesthetics throughout the venue's amenities, technical features, and back-of-house areas while innovating, improving, and adapting standards and processes.
• Project manage, delegate, and participate in tasks in terms of repairs, improvements, and updates to the venue.
• Focus the Maintenance Department on its role in contributing to the guest service scores.
• Work on assigned improvement/repair projects.
• Keep M.S.D. sheets current and easily available.
• Track department inventory
• Train all departments, especially guides, all attendant positions, and the kitchen, to maintain the basic upkeep of their departments and equipment.
• Maintain proper safety and sanitary protocols and procedures.
• Coordinate with all teams to complete projects.
• Maintain preventative maintenance to avoid system failures.
• Maintained repair ticketing system and communicated repair timelines to relevant team members.
• Be a part of the Safety Committee and help coordinate fire drills and the training of all employees on safety procedures.
• Conduct daily facilities check both interior and exterior perimeter for debris and trash removal; Check the lighting, sound, and amenity space periodically.
• Perform any other duties as requested by General Manager and Facilities Manager.
• Participate in all other project tasks as assigned.
• Systems to be managed: pools, HVAC, sauna, steam room, elevator, kitchen, laundry facilities, pest control, basic plumbing, and electrical.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 2-4 years of relevant leadership experience in a high-volume environment.
• Must have a strong understanding of proper repair and maintenance concepts.
• Must have a working knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
• Must have experience in mediation and effective conflict resolution.
• Must have the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism.
• Must be detail-oriented, punctual, and reliable.
• Must be inclusive and discerning.
• Comply with certification requirements as applicable for the position to include: Certified Pool Operator, CPR, and First Aid.
• Must be able to participate in all essential job functions, including lift/carry 50 lbs.
• Must be flexible with tasks throughout the work day.
• Open availability is required (including weekends & holidays).

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Job Type: Job Type: Full-time. 8-hour shifts. Night and weekend availability required.
• Pay: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
