Job OverviewA Applications Engineer develops strong relationships with the industrial clients and provides them with exceptional autonomous vehicle solutions to meet their business requirements. The engineered solutions require an excellent understanding of autonomous vehicles, material flow, information flow, and general business processes.

Job Functions
- Develop strong relationships with our customers through timely, regular visits
- Promote Bastian Solutions in all appropriate forums
- Target key accounts and then penetrate them
- Sell a variety of autonomous vehicle products and services to meet your customer’s needs
- Master product information through training and personal efforts
- Provide professional quotes in a timely manner.
- Master business technology (AutoCad, CRM, Power Point presentations, etc.)
- Plan strategies for customer account penetration/account management
- Pursue leads from our Web Site and suppliers
- Maintain customer database information current in our CRM
- Communicate strategic information regarding suppliers, customers and competition
- Great teamwork with engineering, project management, administrative coordinators, suppliers and sales management.
- Excellent representation of all of our autonomous vehicle products as well as key product lines and services provided by Bastian.
- Ability to close sales. Exceeding the annual sales goals
- Penetrates new target accounts
- Creative engineering to provide superior solutions for our customers
- 25% overnight travel (Travel expenses paid by Bastian Solutions)
- Bachelor’s degree, Engineering degree or equivalent sales experience preferred
- Technical sales experience in the industrial sector a plus
- Material Handling automation design and sales experience a plus
- CAD experience (AutoCad) a plus
- Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.
