Description
Reports to: Vice President of Sales
Essential Duties
- Manages the processes and procedures for the direct reporting organizations to ensure effective and efficient operations are established and operating policies are understood and followed through an active management approach.
- Ensures key goals are understood related to meeting operational efficiencies for the Customer Service team.
- Coordinates business processes and ensures consistent operating procedures are utilized to meet the company’s objectives.
- Ensures requirements of import export documentation and processes are clearly defined to meet the regulatory, legal, and corporate requirements.
- Ensures proper resource planning and forecasting is in place to meet Customer’s expectations or contractual arrangements.
- Ensures the customer experience is positive and timely with regard to meeting their needs.
- Works with the Sales management team to address specific customer issues.
- Provides proper follow-up on all activities within the control of the Customer Service department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management/Administration.
- Minimum of Five (5) years experience in management in Customer Service or Customer Relationship Management.
- Strong work ethic, self-starter, able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lead, influence and work collaboratively in teams of diverse disciplines and cultural backgrounds.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software and database systems.
- Oracle E1 experience preferred.
