Barton Staffing Solutions is Hiring a Slitter operator Near Bellwood, IL
We are currently looking for 2nd shift Slitter Operators for our client located in Bellwood.
These are Direct Hire Positions. Company offers great pay and benefits.
Monday-Friday
3 : 00 pm-1 : 00 am
Pay Rate is $18.00-$22.00 DOE
Job Duties
Checking work order, properly select processed material checking for weight, alloy, size and quality.
- Set up die in punch press.
- Operate punch press to stamp circles or cut to length small rectangles.
- Inspect material during processing to ensure proper quality is maintained.
- Check blanks - free of burrs, scratches, coil set, and good appearance.
- Properly identify all slit material and complete all documentation.
- May require the repair of minor mechanical problems.
- Group completed circles together by work order in designated area, package boxes.
- Maintain work area in a clean and neat fashion.
- Math aptitude / setup calculations testing.
- Accurately record piece count, set up time, and run time.
