Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent and must be at least 17 years of age. Prefer candidates to have prior experience working with children and/or an interest in education or recreation as a possible career goal. Should have an outgoing personality with good interpersonal skills. CPR and First Aid is a plus.
Job Summary:
The Counselor is responsible for assisting the Day Camp Site Supervisor and/or Day Camp Coordinator, with the day-to-day planning, organizing, and implementing all aspects of the Day Camp, and supervision and safety of campers. This is an at-will position. Other duties and responsibilities include:
Schedule & Pay:
This is a part-time, seasonal position. We are looking to fill multiple positions: Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 3:30PM and Tuesday and Thursday 8:30AM - 3:30PM. We are also looking for subs to fill in when needed. Starting pay rate is $14.00/hour DOQ, plus applicable facility and program discounts.
