Primary Objective of Pool Bartender Position

To maximize customer satisfactionby providing quality beverage service at the hotel’s pool(s)

Responsibilities 

• Provides quality food andbeverage service to customers
• Approaches customers promptlysuggesting a cocktail/wine or non-alcoholic beverages and recommendingpromotional items
• Uses approved suggestive sellingtechniques to upsell to premium products
• Maintains knowledge of barinventory and wine selection to respond properly to customer questions
• Maintains a thorough knowledge ofbeverage recipes and mixing procedures
• Mixes drinks for hotel servicestaff
• Understands and follows all statelaws and guidelines for beverage service
• Maintains proper bar cleanliness
• Ensures that all beverages are servedaccording to specifications
• Stocks and orders all suppliesand glassware
• Displays beverage selection in anattractive manner
• Demonstrates the ability to resolve simple customer complaints 
• Handles difficult situationseffectively
