Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst
This position reports out of the Support Center in Arlington, VA
Position Summary:
The FP&A Analyst is curious and excited to learn the fundamentals of restaurant finance. This person is a problem solver who embraces challenges and finds creative solutions utilizing the latest technology. This person builds relationships with all levels of the organization and maintains an operations-focused attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce all daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational reporting including COGS, labor, and OPEX
- analyses.
- Identify and improve processes, systems, and workflows to better support field and support center operations.
- Assist in the implementation of new systems and technology including Tableau.
- Assist in the quarterly re-forecast and annual budgeting processes.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses and present recommendations to support or challenge strategic decisions.
- Mine for data using various tools, create ad-hoc SQL queries and datasets at request.
- Solve problems, find answers, and see trends all through data.
- Stays informed of new technology and methodology to help drive business performance.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies Required:
- BA/BS in Finance, Analytics, or the equivalent work experience
- Strong financial modeling skills and a very high level of comfort with Microsoft Excel
- Tableau and Azure experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment
- Ability to paint the big picture from the details
- Embraces challenges, solves problems, capable of managing the unpredictable
- Thrives on being nimble, flexible, and creative when solving problems
