Job Summary
B&A is looking for a dedicated PeopleSoft Support Resources to support a US Courts project. Functional Consultant should perform professional duties related to the review, assessment, and development of business processes as they relate to IT applications. Focus is on the effective implementation of business processes, usability and accuracy within applications.
Responsibilities:
  • Follow the Agile SDLC process and participate as an active member of the HRMIS Scrum Team
  • Define and document business requirements and objectives.
  • Review, analyze, define and document business functions and processes.
  • Defining alternatives and making recommendations to enhance and/or streamline processes.
  • Translates business requirements and processes into system requirements.
  • Writes functional and technical documents and specifications.
  • Ensures system design fits user needs and requirements.
  • Assists with defining user stories and test scripts.
  • Facilitates and participates in user focus groups; and,
  • Provides or participates on testing, training, and communications activities.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for PeopleSoft HCM 9.2.
  • Define and capture business requirements.
  • Provide design, development, testing and deployment expertise for customizations or configuration updates.
  • Provide 2nd tier production support.
  • Perform system configuration and testing.
  • Develop system documentation to include, but not limited to, the following: configuration workbooks, test plans, design documents, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
  • Provide knowledge transfer to internal subject matter experts.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
Required Skills
  • Five years of experience in PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM in a functional consultant role.
  • Working knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM modules including HR, North American Payroll, Time & Labor and Benefits.
Desired Skills
  • Experience as a Functional analyst with Federal PeopleSoft HCM applications
  • Working knowledge of ePerformance and Talent Acquisition Management.
  • Experience with Agile SDLC methodology and processes
  • Experience in PeopleSoft tools 8.59 and later, Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, SQR, BI/XML Publisher, Integration Broker, PS Query reporting, Security configuration, AWE, CI, and Process Scheduler.
  • Experience with the following:
    • PeopleSoft upgrades and testing.
    • PeopleSoft selective adoption process.
    • SQL Developer
Clerance:
  • Eligible to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
