Job Description: Prepare and verify correct items with appropriate documentation to ship according to sales orders or as directed, by utilizing UPS World Ship software and ERP system. Find and develop new carriers as needed and schedule and organize trucks for shipments. Identify and document each manufactured item upon completion for shipment. Be involved with prepping finished product for shipment, which may include shrink wrapping, building skids, bracing product to prevent shipping damage, etc. Operate mobile equipment to assist with moving of finished product to designated location for shipment Loading and unloading of received good. Check in packages received by matching items with packing lists and handling appropriately by utilizing ERP system. Work with purchasing to maintain stock levels of tracked and non-tracked inventory giving feedback when needed. Cycle counting process management. Prepare needed inventory according to ERP system for production order needs. Collaborate with other departments in the MCR meetings to meet shipping target dates, requirements, and goals.
