Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBLITIES
- Pick, issue and / or deliver parts to the production floor and Maintain parts staging and organization.
- Fill Production Orders
- Assist with receiving, identifying, issuing and storing material / parts in established location using appropriate identification method
- Assist with Label, packing and loading items for shipment according to specifications
- Assist with unloading of incoming trucks as directed; inspect for damage; compare items and quantities received against freight bills
- Assist with maintaining records of all items received and shipped
- Assist with cycle count to maintain inventory accuracy
- Operate materials handling equipment such as forklift, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or organize storage
- Attend team meetings; may provide input on material shortages or quality issues
- Regularly and effectively communicate and interact with other team members
- Regular and predictable attendance at the worksite and on any assigned shift or work schedule is required for this position, as is the ability to work frequent overtime;
this is not a job that can be performed remotely
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates degree preferred, or 1 - 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience with industry software such as MS Office Suite, Salesforce, Infor ERP, or similar.
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal / communication skills required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities
- Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment
- Ability to obtain and operate mobile equipment needed to perform essential functions.
