Job description

Position: Material Handler - Medical Center

Duration: 13 weeks

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in stock and distribution procedures
• Experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Set up daily surgical case carts with required supplies and instruments
• Assist Operating Room (OR) staff by locating and delivering supplies during surgical procedures
• Utilize computer skills for inventory management and documentation
• Maintain stock levels, perform inventory checks, and reorder supplies as needed
• Ensure compliance with stock rotation and expiration date management
• Work rotating weekends, with shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Skills Required:

• Proficient computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Job Type: Contract

Salary: Up to $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 5x8
• 8 hour shift
