Manager, Purchasing Indirect Spend, Barry Callebaut USA, LLC, Eddystone, PA. Responsible for the indirect spend portfolio covers all technical, non-technical, and service spend such as CAPEX and OPEX, Packaging, Energy, Facility Management, lab consumables/services/equipment, G&A related spend. Develop and implement sourcing strategies. Create and manage ongoing action plans to reduce factories purchasing costs. Ensure the timely acquisition and delivery, costs and quality of the goods and services. Verify relevant purchasing practices are applied for the categories in scope and hands-on management of the categories assigned. Comply with the group purchasing processes on controls, open, and PO’s. Act as a link between purchasing team and the regional and global purchasing organization, understanding global agreements and procedures to adhere to their implementation. Generate reports on an ad-hoc basis. Maintain up-to-date documentation of all purchases and perform supplier performance reviews. Manage performance and supplier relationships, ensuring facilities have right supplier base, delivering the right performance. Provide support and resolve issues between suppliers and internal stakeholders. 40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Accounting, Engineering (any), Logistics, Management, or a related field, and three (3) years of related work experience.Must have three (3) years of experience with/in:

Indirect spend purchasing in an international company in food, pharmaceutical, or chemical industries;
SAP or Maximo;
Analyzing historical spend data and budget and define categories strategy;
Managing contracts relating to indirect spend;
Understanding market forces, research and evaluating vendors;
Applying the purchasing process flows in-line with category strategy; and
Driving continuous improvements (cost and service) of assigned sourcing categories.
