**Driver / Warehouse Associate - Jacksonville**

We are currently seeking a Driver / Warehouse Associate.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Process, package and ship orders accurately

* Organize stock and maintain inventory

* Inspect product for defects and damages

* Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments

* Organize warehouse space

* Operate forklift to move and stack product

* Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately (Tire weight up to 70 LBS)

* Check, verify and fill customer invoices

* Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations

* Keep warehouse clean and organized daily

* Operate/Drive Vehicle

* Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues

* Plan routes and meet delivery schedules

* Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures

* Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions

* Collect and verify delivery instructions

* Report defects, accidents or violations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

* Must have good decision making skills and the ability to work and stay calm under fast-paced situations.

* Excellent Verbal or oral skills.

* Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

* Ability to work independently.

* Certified to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.

* Ability to lift or move heavy products repetitively (up to 70LBS).

* Work collaboratively and professionally in a team environment.

* Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly

* Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations

* Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)

* Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with peer employees, customers, and the general public.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

* High school diploma or GED

* Valid drivers license

* Proven work experience as a truck driver

* No recent moving or driving violations
